Nature’s Gate founder Barb Huning is a licensed psychologist, complex trauma specialist with extensive experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy whose passion and purpose is helping her clients create a life they truly love.

With a career spanning nearly 40 years and a warm, empowering approach, she brings extensive experience helping people untangle complex issues. While she works with people at every stage of recovery and self-actualization, she is well-known for her successful work with people suffering from severe, complex and life-threatening issues.

She also works with folx who have found their way out of the dark forest and are building out their life, who want to explore who they are and who they are becoming, empower their process and navigate masterfully with a partner in self-actualization.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy

Her practice is queer and trans-affirming and sensitive to the traumatic effects of systemic and structural oppression of BIPOC people and others. As a straight, cis-gendered, white bodied woman, she strives humbly to show up with integrity for every client.
